Hullo everyone! We are eight days away! I am beyond excited and so anxious to begin this new and wonderful stage of my life. I'm in the process of saying my goodbyes (needless to say, the boyfriend was the hardest...still have puffy eyes!), so each day I am getting more prepared, mentally and physically. Today was my last day at work, so I can finally sit back and relax for a little.
I am having a blast planning all of my trips and excursions! My aunt confirmed her trip for the end of September when we will spend a weekend in Edinburgh, and Andy and I just booked a Regent's-guided tour to Brighton. I've secretly been yearning for a trip to an English coast, and I am tickled that a trip to Brighton popped out of the woodwork. Tomorrow should also set in stone a weekend tour of Paris. Oui, s'il vous plait!
However, I can't have all these things planned and NOT pack for them, so mother and I literally spent ALL DAY last Sunday packing my things just to see whether everything fit and if I needed anything else. I managed to fit all of the essentials in, with a few minor adjustments. Below is an outline of what my carry-on will look like. I would have posted my suitcase as well, but alas I was downstairs digging through miscellaneous dorm supplies while my mom packed my clothes so I genuinely do not know how many tops she managed to stuff into that suitcase. I definitely will document all three of my bags once we actually begin to pack later this week.
As of right now, I will be taking +a suitcase (which will be my checked bag), + a carry on bag, and + a backpack.
My Carry On:
+ Two washcloths
+ yoga pants
+ a blousy, nautical shirt
+ Sperrys (with socks)
+ 2 exercise bras
+ a pair of flip flops
+ plaid Pj bottoms and orange top
+ undergarments
+ a pair of jeans and jeans shorts
+ camera
+ chargers: laptop, camera, and phone
+ adaptor
+ hair towel (towel may be added if we manage to have room to space)
+ make up bag
+ laptop
+ 2 small blankets
+ assorted toiletries (only the essentials, and all under 3 fl. oz.
Surprisingly, all of that fits! I will give a review of my backpack (and maybe the Stila eyeliner I have been loving) later this week. Hope you all have a lovely week! xo
